Graphic Designer
We are looking for a bold and distinctive graphic designer for our growing Design team located in Barcelona. We assume that you have several years of relevant professional experience, although people of extreme talent will always be considered. You must enjoy working within a project group and be comfortable working at a fast pace. You are versatile and prepared to tackle many different kinds of tasks, everything from creative challenging work to mass production.
Your work will consist, among other things, of producing graphics in various formats for the web and mobile devices, as well as animating banners, making themed backgrounds and creating promotion emails for our games. Your source material will be the game graphics from our Art directors, and you will usually work in close co-operation with them and the Design Studio in Stockholm. You may be required to create illustrations but the emphasis will be on using the existing graphics in the best way possible. You are also responsible for ensuring that all material produced matches King’s graphical profile.
King is a global company and excellent English skills are a necessity. The Design Team is directed by a Production Manager and Design Manager located in Stockholm. Some trips to Stockholm will be required. Also you must be available for a 3 week introduction in Stockholm in the beginning of your work period.
Required Experience:
- Very good knowledge of Photoshop, Flash and Illustrator
- A well-developed sense of color and composition
- A substantial interest in form and typography
- A portfolio showing your talent and flexibility
- Relevant education and/or work experience
- Excellent English skills
Bonus Skills
- Knowledge in using/coding ActionScript and/or TweenLite
- Interest in games and a player of our games
- Experience in working with graphics for mobile devices
- Banner production skills
